Physiological breathing disorders
The axis Physiological breathing disorders includes researchers interested in critical respiratory care, sleep apnea, and mechanisms that affect breathing patterns. The work of researchers in this axis has a direct impact on the management of patients in intensive care units in adults, pediatrics and neonates. Work on sleep apnea affects the quality of life of patients and the risk of developing comorbidities associated with cardiometabolic diseases.
